Jean Monnet Chair “Governance and Community Policies” 07/0169, project financed by the European Commission
The key objectives of the project focus on the promotion of new courses for undergraduate and M.A. students, the dissemination of specific information and knowledge for the civil society and local authorities.
The specific objectives of the Jean Monnet Chair project are:
a) the development of competences for further professional formation and a stronger cooperation between universities and the civil society;
b) attracting young candidates and graduate students towards a formation and a specialization in the field of European integration and governance;
c) the development of human and material resources within the “Babes-Bolyai” University and the Institute of International Studies (ISI) Cluj-Napoca for research and teaching purposes;
d) the permanent information of the target groups on European problems and the activity performed by ISI, in view of perfecting the research activity and involving them in the process of information dissemination.
Aims and objectives

c) the development of material and human resources inside BBU and ISI Cluj for teaching and research purposes
